Leadership Waterloo Region's core program is its Community Leadership Development program which was developed in 2000 by a group of community leaders from our local Chambers of Commerce, Community Foundations and Volunteer Centres.

Youth on Board Program
In September 2008, Leadership Waterloo Region launched its Youth on Board program. Linking youth leaders with existing community leaders for a 6-month mentorship on a local board of directors, Youth on Board has the potential to provide ongoing leadership for our community.
