What is Community Impact?

At Leadership Waterloo Region, we feel community impact goes right alongside community leadership. When someone, or an organization, makes an impact it’s not only felt within that organization but reaches far beyond the boundaries it was set out with.

Community impact is felt across sectors, across businesses and across the community as a whole. It can bring leaders and supporters alike together for a purpose larger than themselves. At Leadership Waterloo Region, our Alumni lead the charge in areas of both community impact and leadership. From well-known local businesses, the social profit and government sectors, these bright, capable and forward thinking individuals and organizations are shaping the future of Waterloo Region.
