Fire & Ice Gala fundraiser will honour first alumnus with a Paul Harris Fellowship

Leadership Waterloo Region’s 14th Annual Fire & Ice Gala fundraiser will honour first alumnus with a Paul Harris Fellowship for outstanding service to the community. 

WATERLOO, ONTARIO (January 24, 2017) — Leadership Waterloo Region, a social profit organization delivering experiential leadership development programs, will hold its 14th Annual Fire & Ice Gala fundraiser this Saturday, January 28th at Bingemans in Kitchener. Four hundred people are expected to attend the evening which includes dinner, auctions, an exhibit of art by local artists, and for the first time, a Leadership Waterloo Region Alumnus will be recognized with a Paul Harris Fellowship, for outstanding service to the community, by the Rotary Club of Kitchener Conestoga. Tickets to the event are still available.

Join Master of Ceremonies Mike Farwell of COUNTRY 106.7FM and Honourary Chair Jim Beingessner, Chancellor of St. Jerome’s University for a fun-filled evening of entertainment, magic, live music, and silent and live auctions with auctioneers Cecil Hayes and Melissa Durrell.

“We are excited to be announcing this year’s Paul Harris Fellowship in partnership with the Rotary Club of Kitchener Conestoga, which will honour an alumnus of our core program this Saturday at the gala,” said Tony Denison, Chair of the 2017 Fire & Ice Gala. “It’s the first year that this prestigious award will be presented to an alumnus for outstanding contributions.”
