Leadership Days

Targeted for the busy professional in mind, our Core Program brings together individuals from all sectors and geographical areas of our community for a part-time 10-month experiential leadership development program. Through a series of focused and connected workshops (10 full weekdays, 2 half-days & 2 weekend days) and outside of class project work and homework, participants learn more about their own leadership styles and identify the skills areas they wish to hone.

Ignite your leadership potential by learning about these key topics:

    • Active Listening
    • Arts, culture & Innovation
    • Asset Based Community Development
    • Coaching and Mentoring
    • Communications - Storytelling & Public Speaking
    • Community engagement
    • Design thinking
    • Dominant Emotions/Values Based Leadership
    • Emotional Intelligence
    • Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Allyship

It’s important that Core Program participants are dedicated to their learning journey, so we ask that participants commit to attending all sessions, including the opening and closing workshops. Before applying, we ask that you verify that you are able to attend each session. As the Leadership Days are scheduled during the week, it’s imperative that your employer supports your application and will allow you the time away from your workplace to attend.
