Like many organizations, COVID has given Leadership Waterloo Region an opportunity to think and do things differently.
We have been looking for ways to share leadership resources with the community, and it dawned on us - let's start a book club with recommended readings from those leaders we trust and inspire us!
Turn the Page features books that dive into the different facets of leadership. Recommendations are released bi-weekly. Watch for them every other Wednesday afternoon via the LWR social media channels @LeadershipWR - or check back here! You might see some familiar faces since recommendations will not only be collected from our own staff and volunteers, but from our alumni, and local leadership experts.
We believe in supporting local, and that's why we are partnering with Words Worth Books! Each Turn the Page recommendation will be accompanied by a link to the online store for Words Worth Books, where you can buy your own copy!
So let's jump in and see what books have inspired some of our favourite local leaders!
